Un nuevo estudio ha encontrado que las personas que comen dietas veganas y vegetarianas mejoraron su salud mental. Las personas que comían alimentos a base de vegetales tenían menos probabilidades de experimentar ansiedad y depresión, tenían una mejor restricción cognitiva y mostraban una alimentación menos emocional y descontrolada que las personas que comían una dieta que incluía carne [1]. Diets Without Meat Outperform Omnivorous Diet on Multiple Mental Health Scores
A new study has found that people eating vegan and vegetarian diets improved their mental health. Plant-based eaters were less likely to experience anxiety and depression, had better cognitive restraint, and exhibited less emotional and uncontrolled eating than people eating a diet that included meat [1]. Other studies have found that eating more fruits and vegetables improved mental well-being and short-term mental health [2].
